- What it does
- Pulls new inquiries from your TradeIndia seller account into Kraya as leads, on a regular polling schedule.
- Self-serve — you paste three credentials from your TradeIndia seller panel and Kraya does the rest.
Overview
If you run a B2B business and sell on TradeIndia, the TradeIndia integration lets Kraya pull every new buyer inquiry from your TradeIndia seller account and turn it into a lead in your CRM — complete with the buyer's name, phone, email, company, product they enquired about, and the original inquiry message.
Unlike IndiaMART (push webhook) and JustDial (push webhook), TradeIndia does not support webhooks. The TradeIndia platform only exposes a per-seller pull API, so Kraya checks your account every 5 minutes and creates leads for any inquiries received in the last 10 minutes (a small overlap window to make sure nothing is missed if a fetch is slow).
You then qualify and follow up on these leads in Kraya the same way you would with any other source.
Setup
This is a self-serve integration. You can connect TradeIndia yourself, no support request required.
- Get your TradeIndia credentials
In your TradeIndia seller panel:
- Click your profile (top-right)
- Open Inquiries & Contacts → My Inquiry API
- Copy the three values shown there:
- User ID (
userid) - Profile ID (
profile_id) - API Key (
key)
- User ID (
These are the same three credentials TradeIndia issues to every CRM and lead-management tool that integrates with their inquiry feed. If you don't see the My Inquiry API option, your TradeIndia plan may not include API access — reach out to your TradeIndia account manager.
- Connect TradeIndia in Kraya
- Open Dashboard → TradeIndia Integration (
/dashboard/trade-india-integration). - Paste User ID, Profile ID, and API Key into the form.
- Pick a Default Country Code for phone-number normalization (defaults to
91for India). - Click Connect.
Kraya runs a test fetch against TradeIndia to confirm the credentials are valid before saving them. If TradeIndia rejects the credentials, you'll see an error and nothing is saved — fix the credentials and try again. If the test succeeds, your account is activated and the credentials are stored encrypted in Kraya's database.
- First sync
Once connected, the first scheduled sync runs at the next 5-minute tick (or you can click Sync Now to pull inquiries from the last 10 minutes immediately). New leads start appearing in your default pipeline at the New Lead stage with source set to TradeIndia.
What gets saved
- Name — buyer name
- Phone — normalized using your configured country code
- Email — when provided
- Company name, City, State, Pincode — saved as custom attributes on the lead
- Product name and Subject of the inquiry — saved as custom attributes
- Message — the full inquiry message saved on the lead notes
- TradeIndia inquiry ID — saved on the lead so the same inquiry never creates a duplicate
- Source is set to TradeIndia so you can filter and report on it
- Pipeline — your default pipeline (typically "Leads")
- Stage — New Lead
How dedup works
Kraya runs a three-tier check for every TradeIndia inquiry to avoid duplicates:
- TradeIndia inquiry ID — if a lead already exists with this inquiry ID, that lead is updated, not duplicated.
- Phone or email — if no inquiry-ID match but a lead exists in your org with the same phone or email, that lead is updated and the TradeIndia inquiry ID is backfilled onto it.
- Create new — otherwise, a new lead is created.
This means re-running a sync (manual or scheduled) is safe — repeated inquiries don't create extra leads, and existing leads pick up the TradeIndia inquiry ID the first time they match.
Day-to-day usage
- The scheduled sync runs every 5 minutes automatically. You don't need to do anything.
- The Sync Now button on the integration page pulls inquiries from the last 10 minutes immediately, useful right after you connect a new account.
- The Last synced at timestamp on the integration page shows when the most recent sync completed.
- You can Disconnect at any time — Kraya stops fetching new inquiries but keeps all leads already imported. Reconnecting re-enables the sync.
Edge cases to expect
- Inquiries with no phone number — Kraya still creates the lead with the available fields; you can complete missing fields later.
- Stale or rotated credentials — if your TradeIndia API key is rotated, the sync will start failing silently. Re-open the integration page, paste the new credentials, and click Connect again. The page shows the latest sync status so you can spot stalls early.
- High inquiry volume — bursts are handled gracefully; the 5-minute polling window means a small spike just lands on the next tick.
- TradeIndia plan without API access — if your plan doesn't include the My Inquiry API option, no credentials will be available. Upgrade your TradeIndia plan or contact your TradeIndia account manager.
- Same buyer enquiring multiple times — Kraya de-duplicates by inquiry ID, so each separate inquiry is preserved; same-buyer repeat inquiries update the existing lead with the latest details.
Troubleshooting (quick)
-
"Invalid credentials" error on Connect
- Re-copy each of the three values from TradeIndia and try again. The API Key in particular is long and easy to truncate.
- Confirm your TradeIndia plan includes the My Inquiry API option.
-
"No new leads from TradeIndia"
- Open the integration page and check Last synced at — if it's recent, the sync is running but TradeIndia returned zero new inquiries in the last window.
- Generate a test inquiry on your TradeIndia listings and click Sync Now in Kraya. The lead should appear within a minute.
- If still no leads, click Disconnect and reconnect with fresh credentials.
-
"Leads landed in the wrong pipeline"
- All TradeIndia leads currently land in your default pipeline at the New Lead stage. If you want them in a different pipeline, change your organization's default pipeline.
-
"Some leads missing data"
- Kraya can only save what TradeIndia returns. If a particular inquiry is missing a field (e.g., no email captured by the form), that field will be blank on the Kraya lead.
FAQs
-
Is this real-time?
- No. Kraya polls TradeIndia every 5 minutes. Most inquiries appear in Kraya within 5–10 minutes of being recorded on TradeIndia.
-
Why not webhook-based like IndiaMART?
- TradeIndia doesn't offer webhooks — they only expose a per-seller pull API. Every CRM that integrates with TradeIndia uses polling.
-
Does Kraya push anything back to TradeIndia?
- No. The integration is one-way (TradeIndia → Kraya).
-
Are my TradeIndia credentials safe?
- Yes. All three credentials (user ID, profile ID, API key) are encrypted at rest in Kraya's database. They're never shown again in the UI after you paste them.
-
Can I connect multiple TradeIndia accounts?
- One TradeIndia account per Kraya organization is supported. If you have multiple seller accounts on TradeIndia, contact your Kraya POC.
-
Can I run TradeIndia leads through AI Qualification and Auto Follow-Up sequences?
- Yes. Once the lead is in Kraya, it behaves exactly like any other lead — you can attach sequences, set up smart triggers, and run AI qualification on it.
