Superfone
One-way push of new Kraya leads to Superfone so Superfone can place an AI call automatically. Self-serve setup, phone-based dedup, no reverse sync.
Overview
The Superfone integration keeps your leads in sync between Kraya and Superfone in both directions. When you create a new lead in Kraya, it is automatically sent to Superfone so Superfone can place an AI call to that lead. And when a contact is created or updated inside Superfone, it flows back into Kraya as a lead — so a contact your team adds or edits in Superfone shows up in your Kraya pipeline without any manual copying.
Use this integration if your team uses Superfone for AI calling and you want leads to stay consistent across both tools automatically.
What you can do
- Automatically send each new Kraya lead to Superfone for AI calling
- Receive contacts created or updated in Superfone back into Kraya as leads
- Send the lead's name, phone number, email, and notes to Superfone
- Filter your leads by the Superfone source to see contacts that came in from Superfone
- Connect by pasting Superfone's webhook URL, and copy Kraya's own inbound webhook URL and token into Superfone
- Update the outbound webhook URL later, or disconnect at any time
How it works
The integration has two independent directions. You can use one or both.
Sending leads out to Superfone
Once you paste your Superfone webhook URL and connect, Kraya watches for new leads. Whenever a new lead is created in your organization — however it was created (added manually, captured from a form, synced from another integration, and so on) — Kraya sends that lead's details to your Superfone webhook a short moment after it is saved. Superfone then handles the AI call on its side.
What gets sent: the lead's name (split into first and last name), phone number, email address (if present), and the lead's notes (sent as additional information).
Only new leads are sent. Editing an existing lead does not send it to Superfone again. The push happens once, when the lead is first created.
Indian numbers only. Superfone accepts Indian (+91) phone numbers. If a new lead's phone number is not an Indian number, Kraya skips the push for that lead.
A phone number is required. A lead with no usable phone number cannot be sent, so it is skipped.
Receiving contacts back from Superfone
After you connect, Kraya gives you an Inbound Webhook URL and a Header Token. When you add these to your Superfone account's webhook settings, Superfone starts notifying Kraya whenever a contact is created or updated there. Kraya then creates or updates the matching lead automatically.
How a contact is matched to a lead: Kraya matches on the contact's phone number. If a lead with that number already exists in your organization, that lead is updated. If none exists, a new lead is created. Kraya also remembers each Superfone contact, so if a contact's phone number later changes in Superfone, the update still lands on the right existing lead instead of creating a duplicate.
What comes in: the contact's name (first and last name combined), phone number, email, and additional information (saved as the lead's notes). If your organization already uses lead attributes named "Source" or "Business Name", Kraya also fills those from the contact's source and business name.
Where new leads land: a lead created from Superfone is placed in your default Leads pipeline at the New Lead stage, and its source is shown as Superfone.
Deletes are not synced. Deleting a contact inside Superfone does not delete the matching lead in Kraya. Only create and update events bring a contact into Kraya.
The connection is organization-wide: one Superfone connection links to your whole Kraya organization, and it is set up from the Integrations Hub.
Prerequisites & basics
- Superfone is a paid-plan feature. On the free plan, opening the integration shows an upgrade prompt instead of the setup screen.
- You need an active Superfone account with AI calling set up on Superfone's side.
- To send leads out, you need the webhook URL that Superfone provides in its own CRM settings.
- To receive contacts back, you need access to Superfone's webhook settings so you can paste in Kraya's inbound webhook URL and token.
Step-by-step guide
Connecting Superfone
- In the left sidebar, open the Integrations Hub.
- Under the Calling & Voice category, click the Superfone card. The "Connect Superfone" screen opens.
- In the Outbound Webhook URL field, paste the webhook URL copied from your Superfone CRM settings. This field is required.
- Click Connect Superfone.
- The screen updates to Superfone Connected. From now on, new leads are sent to Superfone automatically, and the inbound details (Inbound Webhook URL and Header Token) appear below for setting up the reverse sync.
Setting up inbound sync (contacts back into Kraya)
- On the connected Superfone screen, find the Inbound Webhook URL field and click the copy icon next to it.
- In your Superfone account's webhook settings, paste this as the webhook URL Superfone should call.
- Back in Kraya, click the show/hide icon on the Header Token (X-Kraya-Webhook-Token) field to reveal it, then click the copy icon.
- In Superfone, add a request header named X-Kraya-Webhook-Token with the copied value.
- Save the webhook in Superfone. Contacts created or updated there will now appear as leads in Kraya.
Updating the outbound webhook URL
- Open the Superfone card from the Integrations Hub.
- Change the value in the Outbound Webhook URL field.
- Click Save Changes.
Saving changes does not change your Inbound Webhook URL or Header Token — those stay the same.
Disconnecting Superfone
- On the connected Superfone screen, click Disconnect.
- The connection is removed. Kraya stops sending new leads to Superfone and stops accepting contacts back from it.
Your existing leads in Kraya are kept — disconnecting only turns off the sync.
Settings and configuration
- Outbound Webhook URL — the address in your Superfone account that Kraya sends new leads to. Required. Paste it exactly as Superfone provides it.
- Inbound Webhook URL — Kraya's own address that Superfone sends contacts to. Read-only; copy it into Superfone. It does not change when you save other settings.
- Header Token (X-Kraya-Webhook-Token) — a secret token that proves incoming requests really come from your Superfone webhook. Copy it into Superfone as a header. Keep it private; treat it like a password.
Role-based behavior
- Admins: Can open the Integrations Hub, connect Superfone, update its outbound webhook URL, copy the inbound URL and token, and disconnect it.
- Members: Do not manage integrations; Superfone setup is an administrator task.
Limits and quotas
- One Superfone connection per organization. A new outbound URL you save replaces the previous one.
- Paid plans only. Superfone is not available on the free plan.
- Outbound is Indian (+91) numbers only. New Kraya leads with non-Indian phone numbers are not sent to Superfone.
- A phone number is required for a contact to sync in either direction. Contacts or leads without a usable phone number are skipped.
- Outbound is new leads only. Editing an existing lead does not re-send it to Superfone. (Inbound handles both new and updated contacts.)
- Deletes are not synced inbound. Deleting a contact in Superfone does not delete the lead in Kraya.
Common edge cases
-
A new lead wasn't called by Superfone Check the lead's phone number. Superfone only accepts Indian (+91) numbers, so leads with a foreign number or no number are not sent. Also confirm the outbound webhook is still active on the Superfone side and that the URL saved in Kraya matches it.
-
A contact I added in Superfone didn't appear in Kraya Confirm you pasted Kraya's Inbound Webhook URL into Superfone and added the X-Kraya-Webhook-Token header with the exact token value. Also confirm the contact has a usable phone number. Contacts without a phone number are skipped.
-
A contact I updated in Superfone matched an existing lead instead of making a new one This is expected. Kraya matches on the phone number, so an update to a contact whose number already belongs to a lead updates that lead rather than creating a duplicate.
-
I changed a contact's phone number in Superfone and Kraya kept the old number If the new number already belongs to a different lead in your organization, Kraya keeps the existing number to avoid two leads sharing the same number. The rest of the contact's details are still updated.
-
I edited a lead but Superfone didn't call again This is expected. Only newly created leads are sent to Superfone for calling. Editing a lead does not trigger a new call.
-
I connected Superfone and worried my existing leads would all be called Only leads created after you connect are sent out. Connecting does not send your existing leads to Superfone.
Troubleshooting
Opening Superfone shows an upgrade prompt instead of the setup screen
- Cause: Superfone is a premium feature and your organization is on the free plan.
- Fix: Upgrade your plan to use the integration.
New leads aren't reaching Superfone
- Cause: The outbound webhook URL may be wrong or outdated, or the leads may have non-Indian phone numbers.
- Fix: Re-copy the webhook URL from your Superfone settings and save it again on the connected screen. Confirm the affected leads have valid Indian (+91) phone numbers.
Contacts from Superfone aren't appearing in Kraya
- Cause: The inbound webhook may not be set up correctly in Superfone — a missing or incorrect webhook URL, or a missing or wrong X-Kraya-Webhook-Token header.
- Fix: Re-copy the Inbound Webhook URL and Header Token from the connected Superfone screen and re-enter both in Superfone's webhook settings exactly. Make sure the header name is exactly X-Kraya-Webhook-Token.
Decision tree
- Can't reach the setup screen (upgrade prompt) → The integration is premium; upgrade your plan.
- New leads not reaching Superfone → Re-save the outbound URL; confirm the leads have valid +91 numbers.
- Superfone contacts not reaching Kraya → Re-copy the inbound URL and token into Superfone; confirm the header name and value are exact and the contact has a phone number.
- Everything looks right but it still isn't syncing → Contact the Kraya team.
FAQs
-
Is the Superfone integration one-way or two-way? Two-way. Kraya sends new leads out to Superfone for AI calling, and contacts created or updated in Superfone come back into Kraya as leads.
-
Which leads get sent to Superfone? Every lead created after you connect, as long as it has a valid Indian (+91) phone number. Leads created before you connect, edits to existing leads, and leads with non-Indian or missing numbers are not sent.
-
Which Superfone contacts come into Kraya? Contacts that are created or updated in Superfone and have a usable phone number. Deleting a contact in Superfone does not remove the lead from Kraya.
-
What lead details are shared with Superfone, and what comes back? Outbound: name, phone number, email (if present), and notes. Inbound: name, phone number, email, additional information (saved as notes), and — if your organization uses them — the "Source" and "Business Name" attributes.
-
How do I find leads that came from Superfone? Filter your leads by the Superfone source.
-
Can I connect more than one Superfone account? No. Each organization has one Superfone connection. Saving a new outbound webhook URL replaces the old one.
-
What happens to my leads if I disconnect? Your leads stay in Kraya. Disconnecting only stops the sync in both directions.
Tips and best practices
- Copy the outbound webhook URL directly from Superfone, and the inbound URL and token directly from Kraya, to avoid typos — a wrong value means contacts silently never sync.
- Set up both directions when you connect: paste Superfone's URL into Kraya for outbound, and Kraya's inbound URL and token into Superfone for inbound.
- After connecting, add one test contact in Superfone with a valid +91 number and confirm it appears as a lead in Kraya, and add one test lead in Kraya and confirm it reaches Superfone.
- Keep the Header Token private. Anyone with it could send contacts into your Kraya organization.
