Quickstart
Get your first AI-qualified lead running in about five minutes.
This walks you through the shortest path from zero to "a lead messages us and the AI replies intelligently." About five minutes if you already have a Kraya account.
Before you start
You need:
- A Kraya account (request access at kraya-ai.com).
- A WhatsApp number you can log into
web.whatsapp.comwith — either your personal business number or a WhatsApp Business API number. - Google Chrome on a laptop that stays online during business hours.
Step 1 — Install the Chrome Extension
- Sign in to the Kraya Dashboard.
- Click Get Extension in the top bar.
- Click Add to Chrome on the Chrome Web Store page.

Step 2 — Connect WhatsApp Web
- Open
web.whatsapp.comand scan the QR code with your phone. - The Kraya sidebar opens automatically on the right.
- If it doesn't appear, refresh the tab once.
Step 3 — Set your AI Knowledge Base
- In the sidebar, open Global Settings → AI Knowledge Base.
- Paste your business context (what you sell, who your customers are, typical questions).
- Under What questions should the AI ask your leads before qualifying them?, write 3–5 short discovery questions. Start with a welcome line:

Step 4 — Turn on AI Auto-Reply
- In Global Settings, toggle AI Auto-Reply to ON.
- Confirm the stage-level AI toggle is ON for New Lead (required for auto-qualification).
Step 5 — Send yourself a test
Message the connected WhatsApp number from a second phone with "Hi". Within seconds:
- You should see the AI's welcome + Q1 reply arrive.
- The lead appears in your Kraya Dashboard under the New Lead stage.
- The conversation is logged in both the extension sidebar and the dashboard.
